I’m an author at nineteen, just finished publishing my first book Slake. Music and words are two of my passions, and my poetry binds them together in a tribute to my first passion–the Man Who died on an inhuman torture device so I could live forever with Him.
My life is ordinary. I work a summer job at a fast-food chain, and in the school year I major in English at Wheaton College in Illinois. But I believe the most ordinary lives have stories to tell, and I hope my story, because it’s ordinary, will be the one that most speaks to yours. We are all pilgrims. We are all going somewhere. It’s a long, hard journey, but the Lord of the Universe knew a longer and harder one, and with His help we can make it.
